Sham Ghansham features a similar theme to Rajesh Roshan's 1995 blockbuster 'Karan Arjun', Abbas & Mustan's 'Soldier' (released in the same year 1998), and Subhash Ghai's 1989 blockbuster 'Ram Lakhan'. Less violent, but with a hugh twist!
