Takenouchi Yutaka (THE LONG VACATION), a real life rock star in Japan, plays Hasegawa Takashi, a young man who is feeling burned and used when it comes to matters of the heart. Tanaka Misato plays an innocent, shy and lonely lady bank worker named Murakami Amane. Both own a computer and use email.
By accident, they start emailing each other. What will happen?
Takenouchi Yutaka has charisma and can easily carry the lead, however here he makes his character seem extremely dark, withdrawn and depressed -- as if his personality is enclosed in a titanium shell -- it is a little unsettling. Your average suicidal character has more cheer.
Tanaka Misato shows great heart and the viewer instantly wants the best for her character.
WITH LOVE is a slow but interesting Japanese soap opera.
