Mohanlal excels in in this movie,a poignant love story to be scripted by Ranjith. This is truly a movie for which Sibi Malayil can be proud of. Mohanlal is a delight to watch in both the roles, one an urbane guy and other a normal village guy,a role which Mohanlal can play better than anyone. Revathi should also get special mention for her role. All the other supporting characters such as Shobhana,Thilakan,Kavioor Ponnamma have also done a neat job.The music by Reghukumar is another jewel in the crown with all the songs lending a special character to the movie.I have a only a small complaint because the song "aampallor ambalathil" was not picturized in the movie. The final scene where the two brothers talk to each other gives a satisfying sense of eerie completion to the movie. All in all, an excellent 90's family entertainer.
