Formulaic, cheap, worthless. Why did Spielberg waste his and the nation's time with this .The piece appears as if was cobbled together at the last minute. Weak, uninteresting narration and poor choices in the clips combine for an uneventful production. It makes American history a big long bore. In fact, if the producers deliberately set out to make a stupid, condescending, left wing screed they could not have done a better job than what they ended up with. I don't believe this is available that readily which is a good thing. If you missed this when it was originally broadcast, consider yourself lucky.
