I guess school children are told that if you fold a paper into four sections, and then cut designs out of the resultant square, when unfolded it can make an interesting geometrical design, somewhat resembling a snowflake. This short animated film seems to have carried this possibility to an extreme, with many, many different coloured and intricately designed 'snowflakes' passing through in different directions against changing monochromal backgrounds.
In the end, a more flowing colour has a plant, supposedly symbolizing spring, emerge in the foreground to mark the end of wintertime and the reign of the snow.
More technically brilliant than artistically impressive.
