Bamse is a good-hearted bear whose grandmother cooks a special kind of honey, that gives him superpowers. When someone starts transforming the bear's friends into balloons and other things, Bamse and his friends Skalman (a turtle) and Lille Skutt (a rabbit) must journey through the woods to stop this person. Written by Qrrbirbel
Definitely a good and underrated Swedish cartoon for kids. Bamse the bear lives happily with his pals, Lille Skutt the neurotic rabbit and Skalman the ingenious turtle (who has a special watch that tells him when it's time to eat, sleep, etc.). Bamse's grandmother makes a sort of anabola-esquire honey for him which gives him Mr. Incredible strength.
Anyway, one day his pals start transforming in kinda weird ways. Vargen the wolf turns into a red balloon-wolf, Lille Skutt's ears turn into carrots, and some other weird sh*t happens. It is up to Bamse, Skalman and Lille Skutt to solve the mystery of who is bewitching all the fairy tale creatures, so they start a journey through the huge woods of Trollskogen.
It's a really good movie, nothing special, but it's kind of a cozy family film to watch, and a classic in Sweden. Not for everyone though, some might think the pacing is a bit slow, but you have to remember it was made in Sweden, after a children's cartoon.
Based on the old cartoon about Bamse. 7/10
