Well, I disliked absolutely everybody in the film. The characters are jerks, fools and idiots whose goals in life are absolutely miserable. It sure made me feel all smug and satisfied with my meager life!
But-for perhaps a teen summer flick, it is really good. Much better than I'd expected. Sure, it's a bunch of rich kid losers who are morally bankrupt and emotionally overdrawn but they are stuck in a dilemma of their own idiot making. Now how often do you get to see 3 people on a boat sit in silence for an extended period of time? That is brave film making for a budget film.
What's more, the music is excellent. I have not enjoyed such a soundtrack from a major film in a long time. If you aren't interested in 3 young fools messing up their lives, please do go out and listen to the soundtrack. It's lovely.
