Desperate to get to an anime convention halfway across the country, a quirky teen artist "borrows" her sister's car, kidnaps her wily, black sheep grandfather and together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.
With a promising career ahead of him, his beautiful girlfriend, Jennifer, and a loving family, Brian Roberts has it all...or so he thinks. A sweet story with some really funny situations of trying to make it in the biz. Great for actors or family viewing. The scenes with the kid and the Negro League Baseball player were very cool. I also like the appearances by Joe Barbara of Another World and Kelly Ripa of All My Children.
