Despite his directing hundreds of porn films over a lengthy career, Fred Lincoln is best known by cultists for acting in the ground-breaking indie horror feature "The Hills Have Eyes". So I was surprised at how well-made is this rare outing for Lincoln as a horror director (in the Adult field).
It is not in the violent mode of "Hills" but rather solid psychological horror right out of Serling's "The Twilight Zone". Wicked PIctures contract girl Stephanie Swift stars and delivers a commanding performance as the damsel in distress, stranded as so many others have been before her in a strange, hostile environment of the Sticks after suffering car trouble while driving toward Vegas with boyfriend Eric Masterson (his being a NonSex Role this time).
It turns out to be the no-horse town of Sedah, Arizona, firmly located in Serling territory. Swift begins seeing many apparitions, all of them having sex, with a dream-like continuity (or lack thereof) between encounters once she's left Eric's character behind and joins in with the ghostly personages in repeated bouts of group sex.
An excellent suspense music soundtrack keeps the movie plugging along, and Swift's intensity is a major plus. Ominous figure who keeps reappearing belongs to the oddly named character porn actor "Uzd Prtz", a bald guy who prefigures the texting era's craze for abbreviations.
