Being Mary Jane Season Finale Recap: Did Mj Make Her Biggest Mistake Yet?

19 September 2017 8:00 PM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Mary Jane Paul, Queen of Self-Sabotage™, has struck again.

The fourth season finale of Being Mary Jane buried its titular news anchor under increasingly mounting pressure, as Justin and Kara’s ongoing Game of Thrones — or at least Game of Offices — came down to her tie-breaking vote. Would she choose Justin, the man who (at this point) can give her everything she’s always wanted? Or would she choose Kara, her “ride or die” since Day 1?

28 July 2017 9:01 AM, PDT | WeAreMovieGeeks.com | See recent WeAreMovieGeeks.com news »

Sony Classical proudly announces the release of The Dark Tower (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) featuring the music of the prolific Dutch composer Tom Holkenborg. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 28 and on CD on August 4. The movie opens in theaters nationwide on August 4.

About the film and soundtrack, Tom Holkenborg says: “Dark Tower is an incredible mix of horror, fantasy and western, it inhabits a unique and singular world, human and personal, yet also other, and the score had to try and reflect this. It was a fascinating project to work on, and an honor trying to score the words and imagination of the great Stephen King.”

There are other worlds than these.  Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen.

Several months may have passed since we last saw Mary Jane Paul, but you’ll pleased — or horrified, depending on your position — to learn that very little about her has changed. Aside from her hair.

IcymiBeing Mary Jane Finale: Was Mj’s Victory Worth the ‘Collateral Damage’?

Oli Davis rounds up the biggest professional wrestling news in his daily WrestleTalk column…

A Wild Vince McMahon Appears!

Being 71 years old and having repeatedly revolutionised the professional wrestling business, you’d think WWE Chairman Vince McMahon would be taking it easier in his seventh decade. Especially because he’s rather prone to randomly tearing quads. But he still refuses to skip leg day.

Netflix Is Purging a Ton of TV in April

22 March 2017 9:05 AM, PDT | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

The time has come. Netflix has announced the titles it's pulling from its catalog in April, and it's a staggering list. There are a handful of movies leaving, but it's really the TV shows that have us devastated. Multiple seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bones, House, M.D., and Ally McBeal will all disappear into the night. At least there are new shows and movies coming to comfort us, but this is still pretty depressing. Expiring April 1 Ally McBeal, seasons one to five Angel, seasons one to five Better Off Ted, season one Barbershop 2: Back in Business Bones, seasons one to four Buffy the Vampire Slayer, seasons one to seven Chaplin Dollhouse, season one Ferris Bueller's Day Off Firefly House, M.D., seasons one to eight Lie to Me, season one Menace II Society Resident Evil: Extinction Rosewell, seasons one to three Snow Day Stomp the Yard Superman II »

Arnold Schwarzenegger, A Career In Crisis: Why the ’80s Action Icon Can’t Mount a Comeback

26 January 2017 8:30 AM, PST | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

This can’t be what Arnold Schwarzenegger imagined 2017 to look like: Sure, there’s a reality star in the White House, the Chicago Cubs are World Series champions, and his arch-rival (/best celebrity friend), Sylvester Stallone, is a recent Academy Award nominee. Yet for the ex-governor of California, far more confounding is how he became an ex-celebrity.

Schwarzenegger spent his acting life amassing a domestic box office of more than $1.8 billion. That haul came from comedies, like “Twins” ($111 million); science fiction, like “Total Recall” ($119 million) and “Terminator 2” ($204 million); or — his bread and butter — action flicks a la “True Lies” ($146 million) and “Eraser” ($101 million). But one unfortunate connection for all of Schwarzenegger’s films grossing $100 million-plus: They were all made before the year 2000.

Since the dawn of the new millennium, Schwarzenegger’s name above the title has carried less weight at the box office, resulting in drastically lower figures. How he »
