Plot Synopsis
Storyline
While trying to uncover the Joker's secrets, Terry McGinnis, the new Batman, discovers the greatest mystery in the career of the original Batman - the true story of the night Batman fought the Joker for the last time. Though when Bruce Wayne is almost killed in one of the Joker's new attacks, it's up to Batman Beyond to avenge his mentor and put the Joker to rest forever. The voice of Ghoul was provided by 'Michael Rosenbaum', who did several voices for the television series "Batman Beyond". While in the recording studio, he would often do a Christopher Walken impression that the producers found hilarious. When they were commissioned to create this film, they wrote the part of Ghoul for Rosenbaum's Walken impression. He would later reprise the role in an episode of Justice League (2001), a series on which he also voiced series regular The Flash. See more »Goofs

Before watching this, I was expecting a good movie, but it turned out to be a spectacular movie that I want to watch again and again! This film pays true homage to the Batman animated series and explains many questions of what happened to the supporting characters and sidekicks of the original Batman animated series. The animation style for the Joker is that of Batman: TAS volume 1-3 (i.e. Joker: good version). If you're hesitant to watch this movie, go for it. Watch, love, and enjoy. I recommend buying the DVD right away, because it also has some pretty cool bonus features like a making-of feature, and a music video. I highly recommend this movie for a fan of the show, or anyone else who even remotely likes Batman.
