DeAGostini channel Super! in Italy and pubcaster Yle in Finland are the latest buyers on pre-school series “The Ollie & Moon Show,” a Cottonwood Media production distributed by Federation Kids & Family.
The deals add to the show’s global reach of over 150 territories already licensed. Previous key sales include to France Télévisions in France, NBC Sprout in the U.S., Tvo and Knowledge in Canada, Discovery in Latin America, D-Kids in Middle East and North Africa, Vrt in Belgium and Ietv in Israel.
An edutainment short-format series, “Ollie” follows a couple of six-year-old globe-trotting cats on a world tour, introducing to kids the joys of unlikely friendships, global citizenship, memorable adventures and new food, language, cities, and customs.

Seatbelts, everyone: Kate McKinnon will be your new Ms. Frizzle.
The “SNL” and “Ghostbusters” star will be voicing Ms. Frizzle for Netflix’s revival of the classic kids cartoon “The Magic School Bus,” titled “The Magic School Bus Rides Again.” Lily Tomlin — currently starring in Netflix’s “Grace & Frankie” opposite Jane Fonda — had voiced the character in the show’s original incarnation, which earned several Emmy nominations and a win for Tomlin.
The “reimagining” was first announced by Netflix in 2014, and conceived then as 26 episodes made using CG instead of traditional animation. “Magic School Bus” was just one of several Scholastic Books titles optioned by Netflix at the time, including “Clifford the Big Red Dog” and “Goosebumps.”

Kate McKinnon is adding another famed character to her canon.
The Saturday Night Live star has been tapped to voice Ms. Frizzle in Netflix's upcoming Magic School Bus reboot, it was announced Wednesday.
Magic School Bus Rides Again will feature a modernized Ms. Frizzle and her class along with an inventive high-tech bus. The series also will highlight the latest tech innovations such as robotics, wearables and camera technology — just as in the original PBS show — to encourage children's interest in science.
