Trivia

This is the first Resident Evil side story with little to no relation to the main series. See more »

Goofs

During the beginning of the game, the main character finds himself in a completely closed-off and isolated area that no one could enter or leave without going through a single door. The player then goes from that area (through said door) to another isolated area containing one body. However, as he is investigating the body, the main character is attacked from behind by a zombie. There's no way the zombie could have shown up behind him as both areas were tightly closed off and isolated. See more »

Quotes

Lott Klein: What are we going to do now, Mister?
Lily Klein: Yeah. What are we going to do?
Ark Thompson: I don't know. But don't worry. We can fly as long as we have fuel.
[Ark drives the helicopter away from the scene as he and the Klein siblings survived and escaped from the island that self-destructed]

A different Resident Evil
4 September 2000 | by (Arendal,Norway) – See all my reviews

This is certainly a different Resident Evil but in my opinion(and in most others I hope)not a better one. Resident Evil Survivor is about a guy called Vincent,he suffers a memory loss when the chopper he is piloting crashes,he was trying to escape an island where zombies had taken over after a biological "accident".On his way to rescue, his memory recovers slowly and he finds out about what happen on the island.

First of all Resident Evil Survivor is in 1st person instead of 3rd person as in the three prequels, which I don`t think is right, second of all the graphics are more low-res,third of all the voices SUCKS(worse than Resi 1)and finally, you can`t save(unless you die or finish the game which takes about 1,5 hours first time around). That summons up the worst parts of RES.

The good things about RES is,you get to slaughter zombies, some areas has a nice atmosphere and best bit,the files you pick up on your way, this files contains valuable information on where/when things happened, they contain even information on where/when things happen on the previous Resi-games.

Resident Evil Survivor is a game that would be a lot better if the developers had changed certain things before they released it,but since this IS a Resi game I will rate it as high as 7,5/10
