Network news is very bad, sanitized news that is anything but in depth. NBC news is short sighted and very conservative and generally is slanted to support conservative positions. Tom Brokaw is a good anchor and I respect him but he is on a bad source of news.
I have watched him for many years and he presents bad news in a very good way. HE is a very smart and insightful man but he is on one of the worst news programs. I don't know why this is Number one in terms of viewership, I guess only because NBC is the Number one network with all of the high rated shows. Still this is a prime example of why network news is faltering overall.
