For those of you who are old enough to remember this show, you are the lucky ones. Just the opening credits were enough to give you the creeps; you see this deserted fairground with a roller coaster going round - I think the music was haunting and strange. It was an anthology of weird stories.. The one that stands out was written by Leslie P. Davies and based on his novel "The Paper Dolls." Also there was another story, I can't remember the name, where a guy gets invited to a party and when he shows up, everyone is dressed in costumes and they look like they are from the '20s. The production was split between the USA and England - I think - so it was better than your average show. The stories were unique and strange, the acting was perfect. They just don't make them like this anymore. I've seen some other anthologies but they don't give me the willies like this one did, it had atmosphere which is sadly lacking in all current shows from this genre. Man, I hope it gets released soon on DVD, I can't find this anywhere!!!
