Jim White moves his family after losing his last job as a football coach. He sees that some of the students are worth starting a cross-country team and turns seven students with no hope into one of the best cross-country teams.
Mac (Hester Joyce), who considers himself a hunk, has three sexy air hostesses as flat mates. Just for a lark, he convinces each of them that he is the best guy for them, conveniently forgetting that he has a steady girlfriend who will come after him hammer and tongs!
When Mac's old friend turns up and threatens to spill all, chaos ensues! It's a juggling act of manic slap-stick dates, performing silly task in way of a bribe for his friends silence and the deep emptiness he feels in his hollow unfulfilled life. Soundtrack by Shed Seven.
