Lou and her boyfriend Matt lodge with her friend Terri. One day a personable young man arrives at the house and says he is Richard,barrister cousin of the other house-mate Tom. He charms both women and has sex with Lou,who is going through a bad patch with Matt. But he also subtly tries to turn them all against each other to secure his place in the house and,when the real Richard turns up,he kills him.
