Young Man in Pub
|
Lou and her boyfriend Matt lodge with her friend Terri. One day a personable young man arrives at the house and says he is Richard, barrister cousin of the other house-mate Tom. He charms both women and has sex with Lou,who is going through a bad patch with Matt. But he also subtly tries to turn them all against each other to secure his place in the house and, when the real Richard turns up,he kills him. As the truth dawns on them that they have let a killer into the house the trio must combine to destroy him before he destroys them. Written by don @ minifie-1
This is my first memory of seeing Mr Graig, in fact I still remember being blown away (slightly over exaggerating) by this story and his amazing performance nearly eight years ago, that surely is a testament to his obviously great acting ability not to mention charisma.
I did try to make a mental note of his name, making sure to check the credits at the end of the film and to be honest, it was such a long time before I saw him on screen again I had forgotten it. What did stick with me though was his face, this I made sure to remember as even back in 1999 when I had no clue of who he was I wished I could have seen more from this brilliant actor.
If you ain't seen the new bond movie then do so, the movie and Mr Graig's portrayal of the British MI6 agent are by far the best to date.
If you get the chance to see this short movie I think you may be pleasantly surprised, I myself was left feeling that I wish more movie story lines had the same conviction.
