Trivia

Lisa Lucas (Addie) broke her leg while filming this story. She took a fall from the horse "Treasure" as she was riding. The production was delayed several weeks and then a stand-in was used for at least one scene which took place in the cemetery. The shot was filmed in silhouette from the back, which turned out to be very effective. Also, in the scene where Grandma and Addie are doing the laundry, you will notice Lucas is sitting for the entire shot and her legs are never shown. This scene was possibly re-staged due to the broken leg. See more »
