Funny and action-packed updating of the old computer games., 7 July 2000
Author: lartronic from Akron, Ohio

"Duke Nukem" was originally a series of computer games distributed by Apogee software which I used to play all the time. Back then they actually seemed state-of-the-art, but were in fact mind numbingly repetitive. However, that isn't the case with this updated version. This is one of those games where you see from the character's point of view, and you collect weapons along the way, health, etc. Instead of being the same old thing, this hilarious game, which, by turning the old simple Duke Nukem into an unstoppable killing machine, seems fresh and new. The plot concerns murderous aliens who are trying to take over the world, and Duke Nukem is the only person who can stop them without breaking a sweat. He even spouts swear words when he kills a whole bunch of them. This has to be one of the funniest games around, and I advise that you go out and purchase it soon.
