Unimpressive view of Virginia...
18 October 2010 | by (U.S.A.) – See all my reviews

Another in the James A. FitzPatrick travel series and one of lesser interest than usual.

The only big attractions are the natural bridge and the colorful looking caves, but beyond this we get just a glimpse of tobacco being farmed. No attempt is made to give us some gorgeous visuals of Virginia landscapes which is rather surprising since this is photographed in color.

One of the less impressive FitzPatrick travelogues, it spends too much time inside the dark caves which are a big tourist attraction but don't look that spectacular on a TV screen. Disappointing, to say the least. Even some further scenes of tobacco farms would have been preferable.
