The tween, Mads, finds it hard to fit in. Having feelings for a girl in class and a clumsy farther who is a teacher at his school doesn't help. By an uforseen chance of events, Mads becomes somewhat of a hero, but will he win the girl?
First off, I loved the series (or at least the first three the fourth was in my opinion ruined by the children played by Niccié Jølst and Nicolé Jølst) but it was with some reservations that I saw this film and sadly it is really bad which is a shame because the characters deserved much better. The whole film was a mockery of what made the series great and I actually had to see it over several viewings to get the whole film (my brother has it on tape). I have great respect for the actors in the film but they all suck (except Jan Linnebjerg who always brings a lot of humor and comedy to his character). The story is ridiculously bad even for a children's movie and the (anti)climax is pretty obvious even from the beginning.
All in all if you liked the series don't watch the movie.
