I am a big fan of video games, and was a little disappointed when Dreamcast first came out. They had great sports games, but no true first rate adventure games. Then came Omikron...why this game didn't get a lot of attention is beyond me.

First off, the premise in the game is incredible. This dude named Kay'l comes through the game so to say and tells you that you are chosen to save the world of Omikron. You also have the ability to travel in and out of people's bodies at most points of the game. This way, if you lose a fight, you can transport into the first person that touches your body.

Second, the whole world is futuristic and surreal, like something out of a Japanese anime almost. There are cool nightclubs, spooky potion shops...there is one general store which is a front for an underground fighting tournament. Hell, there are peepshows in this game. And the adult shops are the best. There are certain things hanging from the ceiling that I don't think I could say in this review.

Altogether this game is the best one for Dreamcast for one ultimate reason. First person shooting, fighting and adventure modes all wrapped into one great intriguing storyline, with all the twists and turns of a movie.
