The strength of this movie is in the concept - two lost souls stuck in an elevator and captured on a video surveillance camera- simple, yet a brilliant premise for an indy movie. The fundamental dichotomy of the human animal as both social and selfish is well illustrated here, as the two simultaneously turn toward one another for emotional support, and against one another when it comes to sharing their meager supplies.
