Melies plays a magician who takes off his own head and throws it into a box while another head grows back on him. To torture the alternate head, the magician lights a cigarette and starts blowing smoke into the box but the other head has his own plans for revenge. This two-minute film is pretty light but this is something the director was able to do at ease and get laughs from it. I guess those who hate second hand smoke could use this film as a rallying call but either way the movie offers up some great laughs, including how the second head gets his revenge.
