An amazing documentary with unseen footage from WW11

I saw Blizkrieg in a cinema in London, England in 1962. When it was over and the lights went up, there was silence, nobody got up from their seats. Of all the documentaries made about the Nazi atrocities, this was one of the most horrifying. It's been a very long time since I saw it, but I remember footage from Nazi archives never seen before. Many years have passed since 1962 which was just 17 years after the end of the war, and perhaps we have been inured from the horror of the Nazis and the German people who supported them. I hope not. It is almost unthinkable that in our lifetime Hitler, his henchmen and the millions of ordinary Germans who supported them were allowed to get away with the systematic murder of millions of innocent men, women and CHILDREN, because of their religion, politics, mental health, physical condition or sexual orientation. Shame on the world. I would hope that this could never happen again.
