This short was directed by a friend of mine back in the mid 80's. He was dating my half sister at the time which is how I knew him. I don't think that it is available commercially but I have a beta copy somewhere in my basement. I remember going to the premiere - there was a huge turnout for the film. It starred Charlie Sheen and if I recall correctly it was filmed partially down in the NYC area early in the morning so they could get empty street scenes. Sam is from a Hollywood family - his dad directed a number of films including: Fleshtone (1994),That's Adequate (1989),Once a Hero (1987),The Rosebud Beach Hotel (1984),Safari 3000 (1982),The Comeback Trail (1982),Nocturna (1979), Fairy Tales (1979) Auditions (1978),Richard (1972) Chaplinesque, My Life and Hard Times (1972) and The Projectionist (1971)
