An incredible, highly underrated animated film.

I cannot adequately express the feeling I get when watching Shin Kimagure Orange Road. This film is powerful, beautiful and emotional, and inspires within the viewer a feeling of nostalgia and a longing for the caliber of love we see between Kyosuke and Madoka. However it's not your typical love story, as it also includes elements like time travel and psychic powers that complement the theme seamlessly. Top it all off with excellent animation, voice-acting (including the dub,) and an outstanding soundtrack and you have an irresistible anime movie.

It is said that this is not the best way to be introduced to the Kimagure Orange Road universe, but my exposure to this movie was the main reason I became a serious fan of the series. Even if you're not a fan of similar (if less mature) series like Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo, KOR is worth a shot -- it has obviously struck a chord with me.
