Did You Know?

Ms. Pac-Man was originally created by 2 programmers at General Computer Corporation who altered a Pac-Man board. The original name for the new game was Crazy Otto. General Computer Corporation sold the rights to Crazy Otto to Midway who changed the name to Ms. Pac-Man and distributed the game without Namco's consent. To avoid loss of other licenses and lawsuits, Midway turned over rights to Ms. Pac-Man to Namco in 1982. See more »

One of the greatest video games of all time
9 February 2003 | by (America) – See all my reviews

I love Ms. Pac-Man. The original was too dark and seeing all of the levels were almost exactly the same at least by modern standards it is a little on the boring side. I actually got quite good at this game. One time though I made it up to 630,000 or so and the screen did something really weird. It flipped upside down but still showed me playing. I was killed and sense then I just never could get back up to that high score.

There is a trick where you can go through the ghosts when they turn their eyes around that you can go through them. I have done that a few times but I don't know how I did it. It is fun and while it is not my favorite video game it is so addictive. When I was a freshman in college I played this all the time. Well my studies suffered a little bit too. But this game takes me back to a day when you went out to play video games, Nintendos were not too widespread and games cost a quarter instead of up to $1.00. All I can say is this is a classic game, nearly immortal as far as games go. They were going to call this game Puc-Man but it was said it could be altered into a certain curse word.....
