Penélope Cruz knows how to work her gorgeous figure. The Spanish actress has made a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in films like Blow, Nine, and Vicky Cristina Barcelona (for which she won an Oscar in 2010), and she never fails to heat up the screen with her steamy brand of dark, moody sex appeal. She was even named as Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive in 2014. Of course, Penélope's most beloved roles at the moment are as a mother to Leo and Luna and wife to husband Javier Bardem. See some of her hottest moments on the beach, the red carpet, and beyond. »

Mubi is showing the retrospective The Inner Demons of Ingmar Bergman from June 8 - August 28, 2017 in the United Kingdom.I've told this brief story of how I fell under the spell of cinema so many times I've become brazen to it. At eighteen years, in February 1993, I found Ingmar Bergman's Cries and Whispers (dubbed) at the video store. As Woody Allen spoke of the Swede in hushed tones, I decided I should try a film. Ninety minutes later I sat stunned and spellbound, not sure what to do or think, but surely sure I must be onto something. Cinematic rapture still has a psychical aspect for me, the torque the sedentary body goes through while coping with the images before it. I can always tell how good a film is if my armpits smell after. The body doesn't lie. Ingmar Bergman is an easy crush—one writer I know »

There’s no money in a “real job.” So George Jung deals pot. Lots of it. The blue-collar kid dubbed Boston George spirals up from there, into the riches and excesses of the huge cocaine cartels. And crashes hard. Johnny Depp portrays George, the ambitious outlaw who, perhaps more than any American, transformed powder cocaine from relative obscurity in the U.S. into a 1970s/’80s feeding frenzy. Penelope Cruz co-stars in this riveting, fact-inspired tale of glitz and glamour, fast times and hard time, betrayal and Blow.

Jimmy Kimmel will reprise his hosting duties at the 90th edition of the awards ceremony to be held on March 4, 2018.
Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs made the announcement today that Kimmel, De Luca and Todd will be reuniting for Hollywood’s biggest night.
While the performance of all three received generally favorable reviews, they were ultimately overshadowed by the badly fumbled best picture announcement that incorrectly named La La Land the Oscar winner rather than the actual winner Moonlight.
Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live! now in its 15th season. The show has earned six Emmy nominations in the outstanding variety series talk category, the writing for a variety series category, and the variety, music or comedy series category.

I first saw Cliff Curtis in the movie Training Day (photo above). While he didn’t have a huge part in my opinion he was the most memorable character in that movie. He played a gangster slash drug dealer and didn’t even speak much, but you were completely intimidated by this guy. His tattoos, his mustache, his mannerisms, everything about this guy said “this is not a dude you want to mess with.” It was after this movie that I was always on the lookout for Curtis. In the movie Blow, same deal. He was barely in the film but in

George Jung is on his way back to prison for violating his parole. The ex-drug smuggler was sentenced Wednesday for making an unauthorized trip to SoCal. Jung pleaded with the judge, but still got slapped a 3 month sentence. He was being transferred Wednesday from Sacramento to a Nevada prison. We're told George -- who Johnny Depp played in "Blow" -- will probably only do a month or so behind bars, due to time served. Once »

George Jung is a lifetime criminal who will never be able to reform, according to his probation officer ... but George's side says otherwise. George's defense team just filed new docs asking for a very light sentence after his latest bust. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, they take issue with the probation officer's scathing testimony -- that Jung's an alcoholic, habitual liar and "no viable vocational or educational treatment programs" can change him. But George's »
