Storyline

A cat burglar wakes the grandmotherly Phyllis when he breaks into her house, where she sleeps next to her husband, Eric. When she can't rouse Eric, she gets up alone and conks out the intruder with a frying pan. She strips off his clothes, puts them on, takes his keys and drives off into the night, leaving her nightgown. The intruder wakes and, for the next twenty-four hours, lives in an altered state.

Very good and very weird

This is a very strange little short film from Australia. The film begins with an older couple in bed when the wife hears a burglar breaking in the house. She responds by herself--and clobbers the crook with a frying pan. From here on, the film gets very, very weird--MEGA-weird in fact.

When the crook awakens, he's totally naked and he hears the housewife driving away in his car! Since he has no clothes, he puts hers on and hides out in the house since the police are canvassing the neighborhood. Again, very oddly, the robber begins acting like the housewife--cooking for the old husband and caring for him--and the husband never notices that it's not his wife!!! Talk about strange and oddly funny. This film is well made and clever and I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it before!!
