I saw this as part a collection of lesbian shorts, and it came off pretty well. It concerns a (lesbian) somewhat uptight travel writer whose traditional travel companion has died of cancer. She decides to take a classified ad to find a replacement during her trip to Italy.
The movie takes place in a lesbian friendly cafe where she is meeting the person she picked. Kristen Davis plays the writer's sister and turns in a playful performance. While at the cafe, the writer meets up with a graduate student/waitress and there is clearly some chemistry. We wonder if it will lead anywhere.
A bit of the narration is a bit much, but overall, I enjoyed it. The performances especially make the movie.
