She gets home to her angry father who wants her to go into business and says she needs to go to sleep to get good grades so she can get into Harvard. She goes into her room and looks at a fashion magazine and wishes she could be a model. Next scene shows Janine ordering Chinese whose mother comes in and orders her something healthier. Her mother then announces that she is going away for a couple weeks and Janine is thrilled. Janine goes into her room and sees herself on TV. Written by Stephanie

Can't Believe I Actually Watched This
17 March 2002 | by (Texas) – See all my reviews

It's one of those movies you feel like you have to watch, but then end up hating it even more when you finish it. That's how it was for me at least. Okay, at the time Model Behavior came out I was into *NSYNC (there's my mistake). Anyway, I watched Model Behavior on the Disney Channel since you can turn your TV on at any given time and see it on that station. Well I knew the movie would be a flop, and it sure seemed like it would be. It's real popular with those 12-16 year olds I think because it stars Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC. But do they not notice Mr. Timberlake doesn't have an acting bone in his body? His acting skills are, how do I say this nicely, bad. Okay that wasn't nice but it's the truth. He couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. But I think Maggie Lawson did do a good job as acting as both Janine and Alex, a hard role to accomplish. Kathie Lee Gifford and her little annoying son did nothing for this movie. In my opinion, out of four stars this movie gets 1 star.
