The story of Martin of Porres is touching, powerful and itself a precise manifesto for tolerance, acceptance of other, pledge against segregation. And the film use , in wise manner, each part of them. But its basic, obvious, admirable virtue remains the acting, in many scenes only the presence of Rene Munoz. Martin is his role , in each trait and dimension and you feel that in profound sense. So, a beautiful Catholic film. Delicate, inspired, convincing, profound moving, admirable crafted.
