Nice, Refreshing Movie

Being a humongous fan of Madhuri, I knew I had to watch this movie. The movie was obviously a love triangle. But it was quite different. The movie is based on compromise based on friendship. The movie had a very interesting storyline. In fact there were only two flaws in the movie. The editing was not professional enough. The story seems very loose because twists in the story come to late in the movie. The other flaw in the movie is the chemistry between the leads. Madhuri didn't share chemistry with her co-stars even though she and Sanjay Kapoor looked great together in Raja. She does excellent acting especially in her final show but an actress like Kajol would have been wiser. She also looked very old in the movie. Sanjay Kapoor does an great job however he never made it big unlike his brother. Akshaye Kumar was decent. He looks the part and manages to impress. I saw this movie 5 years after it came out, and I remember the song Mere Jaane Jaana (Oh Baby Don't Break My Heart) was a huge hit. The song is a fun song, but Madhuri-Akshaye aren't a good match. My favorite song was Aina Bata Kaise which is you typical two friends unknowingly love same girl and are talking about it to each other. The song Chori Chori Chuppe Chuppe was danced well by Madhuri but once again, she appeared aged in this movie. Pyar Kiya Hai Chori Chori is quite a good song and fits the film well. The big surprise of the movie is the ending. It is quite unconventional because it is made very well. However, due to how late Sanjay Kapoor's brain cancer is revealed, it wouldn't be a 10 out of 10. However because it managed to touch your heart, especially by Madhuri's acting in the last scene, I give it a 9 out of 10. The movie is fairly good, and it deserves a watch.
