On 13th November 2015, presenter Andrea McLean stated twice on the show that there was a growing number of paedophiles. Her assertion went unchallenged, despite the lack of any evidence to actually support such a claim.
In January 2012, Andrea McLean was due to present an episode, but suffered a huge panic attack seconds before the show went to air. Ruth Langsford, who had been presenting This Morning in the same building, was forced to stand in at the last-minute. McLean later spoke of her panic attack in depth, in an attempt to highlight the problems faced by sufferers of anxiety.
In September 2000, the show rebranded as 'Live Talk' and production was moved from London to Manchester, with the show now becoming more of a vehicle for Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha. 'Live Talk' aired for just over a year, before it reverted back to the Loose Women name and production returned to London.
