Storyline

"Her name is Claire Redfield. We caught her tresspassing in our Paris lab facility ten days ago. She apparently infiltrated the complex looking for her lost brother, Chris Redfield..." Set just three months after Resident Evil 2 and 3, Claire flies to Europe to search for Chris and end Umbrella's Bio-Weapon creations, right at the source. Umbrella's HQ in France. Unfortunately, Claire is abducted and taken to a island in South America and finds that the virus mutations have happened on this island as well. While Chris, hoping to find out more in Europe, somehow manages to turn up there as well. As for the island it is known that the island is a prison, called Rockfort Prison (on Rockfort Island amazingly). Written by Brian Bonilla

Trivia

The updated version for the Dreamcast (in Japan only) and PlayStation 2 (enitled Code: Veronica X) included a non-interactive DVD entitled "Wesker's Report". This was a short film which brought players up to speed on the events in the series thus far. Its release coincided with the original Resident Evil's 5-year anniversary. See more »

Goofs

The twin pistols Claire kills a zombie for early in the game are Calico M100P, but are not 9mm as the game says. In reality they're chambered in the .22LR cartridge. See more »

Another gem from the RE team.

I just can't believe that these games can get so much better, but they do. Unfortunately I had to rent a Dreamcast to play it, but even though I did beat it I can't wait to buy it for PS2. This is the only series of games that I must own all of them even if I have beaten them many times over. I hope they never stop making this type of game even if the series must come to an end.
