"Her name is Claire Redfield. We caught her tresspassing in our Paris lab facility ten days ago. She apparently infiltrated the complex looking for her lost brother, Chris Redfield..." Set just three months after Resident Evil 2 and 3, Claire flies to Europe to search for Chris and end Umbrella's Bio-Weapon creations, right at the source. Umbrella's HQ in France. Unfortunately, Claire is abducted and taken to a island in South America and finds that the virus mutations have happened on this island as well. While Chris, hoping to find out more in Europe, somehow manages to turn up there as well. As for the island it is known that the island is a prison, called Rockfort Prison (on Rockfort Island amazingly). Written by Brian Bonilla

Did You Know?

The game's soundtrack gives a clue to a code towards the end of the game. One track title is "The Code Is Veronica" and it plays the music from the section of the game where you enter a code (VERONICA) to open all the electronic doors before the final fight. See more »

The twin pistols Claire kills a zombie for early in the game are Calico M100P, but are not 9mm as the game says. In reality they're chambered in the .22LR cartridge. See more »

Albert Wesker: [walking up the path towards Claire] Greetings! You must be the LOVELY Claire Redfield!
Claire Redfield: Who are you?
Albert Wesker: Let's just say I'm a ghost, coming back to haunt your... DEAR brother.
Claire Redfield: Wesker?
Albert Wesker: It seems there's not much explaining to do is there? I was the one who attacked this island... who would have thought YOU'D be hanging about?
Albert Wesker: All the better for me, now that the cat has dragged in this lovely surprise, your most caring brother will DEFINITELY be coming to rescue you.

The Resident Evil series just keeps getting better and better! As a long-time Resident Evil fan, I bought a Dreamcast only to play Code Veronica, because I couldn't bear not playing my beloved RE. And let me tell you, it was well worth the money. It has more gore, more scares and the acting has gotten A LOT better than the previous games, with the exception of Steve Burnside. The gameplay and graphics are awesome! If your an Resident Evil fan, then this game is a must for you!
