Revealing mistakes: The monitor by the darkroom entrance in the AV room shows that a camera is panning, zooming, and following Tiffany throughout the scene, although it's supposedly coming from a stationary camera since there's nobody else in the room that would be operating it.

Late Night Movie Fare

This is the kind of movie that you want to see late at night, when you just want some mindless entertainment. I almost fell of my chair when I saw Jonathan Brandis was in this film, since he had passed away two years before it was released. I guess Bad Girls was on the shelf for a while. It certainly seems dated.

The teenage high school girls are played by a cast is that mostly around thirty years old, or older. Julie Benz is the oldest of these high school girls, and I have to agree with the reviewer that mentioned that she looks around forty in this flick. I thought she was one of the teachers when she first appeared.

Christopher Lloyd is in this film to do pratfalls, and it is a sad waste of his talent. I wonder why he would be in this movie. Aside from walking into doors, he is occasionally oogling the girls. I felt sorry for him, as he was playing the role that usually goes to some unknown college student-actor.

Overall, there is not much to recommend this film. If you missed seeing the Valley Girl movies of the 1990s, then this dated after-thought might fill the bill. If you have a bag of potato chips and a case of insomnia, and Bad Girls happens to be on the tube, then you can kill 90 minutes looking at Julie Benz trying to remember what being a teenager was like.
