Decent Hardcore Film

Devil's Due (1973)

** (out of 4)

Cindy (Cindy Love) is the smartest and brightest student at her high school and one day her Dean calls her into his office to discuss becoming a valedictorian. Once in the office the Dean drugs her and has sex with her. Things get worse when it turns out she's pregnant and she also learns that she wasn't the first girl he did this to. She eventually decides to leave behind her now troubled life and head to the big city where she gets involved in a Satanic cult.

DEVIL'S DUE is a decent hardcore picture that doesn't have as much story as I've written out. The majority of the plot that I just described happens in the first twenty minutes and then the rest of the film is non-stop sex. For the most part this is an entertaining mix of hardcore sex and horror elements, although the Satanic stuff doesn't take up too much of the movie. In fact, it's pretty much a gimmick as there's really not too much horror stuff.

For the most part the cast is good with Love doing a nice job in the lead role. She was certainly cute and she's believable in the part. You can spot Jamie Gillis quickly as one of the cult members. The sex scenes are pretty much the type that you'd expect from a 70s porn and of course everything builds up to the big finale, which is a ritual with an orgy.
