It's non-stop action/adventure as you engage alien forces and outwit your foes - lest the Federation falls victim to its ruthless archenemy. Play as ensign Sovok, who must save Picard and stop an ancient biological threat.

Storyline

Third person action adventure game and Resident Evil clone set right after the events of the film, Star Trek: Insurrection. The conflict seen in the film between the Son'a and the Ba'ku is now over and they are rebuilding their society. Picard, Data and the Enterprise are still there setting up a Starfleet outpost that'll help the rebuilding effort. However, an ancient ruin built by a mysterious highly advanced ancient race that's now extinct is discovered. Picard disappears while investigating it. The player takes the role of young Starfleet ensign Sovok, one of the only few humans who can perform the Vulcan nerve pinch due to him being adopted and trained by Vulcans at an early age, and who dreams of serving on the Enterprise. He's asked by Data to find Picard. However, the ensign finds one still living member of the alien race that built the ruined complex. He helps her free herself from stasis only to be kidnapped by a mad rogue Romulan commander. Romulans have discovered that her...

Hidden Evil's plot is one of Star Trek's greatest.

This game is one of the best I played. Using the actor's voiceovers and imagery was a turn in the right direction as this game recaps and finishes what Insurrection left open. The plot twists are sharp, and tie in directly with older Next Generation episodes, specifically, "The Chase". The only down side is the short ending, which doesn't reward much of the 8 hours it took to solve and beat. This game definitely deserves the Trek name, and I will hold it as one of the best Trek games made to date.
