Of all the Laure Sainclair vehicles churned out by video mogul supreme Marc Dorcel this definitely stands as my personal favorite. Not that it's all that different from the others, at least not superficially that is. It still has the type of story line we've all seen dozens of times before in porn, i.e. bored, betrayed, upper middle class housewife gets her revenge on hubby as well as a thrill or two of her own by enlisting in a luxurious bordello. Yep, it's BELLE DE JOUR all over again and that kind of stuff was hardly original even back when old Luis Bunuel tackled it in the late '60s. What makes this stand out from a thousand other heavy breathing XXX-raters is the careful attention to detail only an old time director (in this case "Michel Barny" a/k/a. Didier-Philippe Gerard who's been making porn films since the mid-'70s) cares to bring to any such project, exquisite lighting (rare in shot-on-video and much softer than in other Dorcel productions) and great imagination as well as heat in the intricately set-up sex fantasies at the bordello. On top of all that, breathtakingly beautiful Laure responds to all this attention with the kind of performance dreams are made of, finally letting her hair down in a way that would give then newly returned U.S. porn princess Ginger Lynn a run for her money. Don't just rent this flick overnight, own it, whatever the cost !!!
