A bartender wants rid of an obnoxious drunk but not until the drunk has left a decent tip. So the bartender tells the story of two mobster families, the Minettis who work out of an Italian restaurant in the East San Fernando Valley, and the Mulroneys who work out of an Irish pub in the West San Fernando Valley. Mob war breaks out when one of the Minetti "boys" stiffs Big Paddy's daughter on her tip. We soon see why these hoods are called very mean men. Written by
I saw the movie on the oldenburg film festival . Its a brilliant comedy
with a good storyline, which make me still laugh when I think about it.
Matthew Modine plays a bartender, which is spectator of the rivalry of
an Irish and an Italian gangster gang.
He helped out the organizers of the festival with this movie to
overcome another canceled film. As I expected the other movie that
night, I really have to thank him for giving me a chance to see such a
good movie. Its such a shame, it has not come out yet (Mid 2004). This
would be a movie I would certainly want to have on DVD in my
