Let me be the 1st to tell you that this show is hilarious...

Backberner is a sharp, quick-witted, sometimes controversial show that takes a comedic view on the more serious aspects of current affairs. I watch this every Thursday night on the ABC channel but as far as I know it is only screened in Australia. But if you have a sense of humour and don't mind seeing political/global issues turned into a joke AND if you can get to an Australian TV set then I highly recommend that you take a look at this show. Sometimes, they can go a bit far in terms of mockery but usually they provide a great half-hour of pure (or not so pure) entertainment. Overall, a clever show that's worth a look.
