Sean Hannity Executive Producing Faith-Based Movie Starring Kevin Sorbo (Exclusive)

Sean Hannity Executive Producing Faith-Based Movie Starring Kevin Sorbo (Exclusive)
Atlas Distribution Company has set an Oct. 27 release date for faith-based drama “Let There Be Light” with conservative political commentator Sean Hannity executive producing, Variety has learned.

The film is directed by and stars Kevin Sorbo, who starred in 2014’s faith-based hit “God’s Not Dead,” which grossed $60 million domestically.

Let There Be Light” is the story of an atheist who has a near-death experience that challenges his beliefs about love, God, and family. The film also features music stars Dionne Warwick and Travis Tritt.

Kevin Sorbo’s wife and co-star Sam Sorbo conceptualized and co-wrote “Let There Be Light” with Dan Gordon (“Highway to Heaven”). The three produced the movie.

“Liberal Hollywood has increasingly moved the bar, making simple and honest films with solid faith and family values harder to find,” said Hannity. “I felt compelled to start bringing quality films to the millions of forgotten Americans who want to see more of these heart-warming and

He later headlined the sci-fi series Andromeda and more recently has made guest appearances on a number of shows, including Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, Hawaii Five-0, Psych, Two and a Half Men, and The O.C. Kevin Sorbo Cast In Recurring Role On Supergirl

Continuing its proud tradition of adding science fiction and fantasy television alumni to its cast, Supergirl has welcomed Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Andromeda), who is set to play a recurring role. Unfortunately, the specifics regarding his involvement are decidedly vague, as Deadline has described his mysterious character as being both a villain and anti-hero. Not only that, but it remains unclear if he’s human or alien.

Perhaps some clues can be gleamed though if we’re to tie this to the casting of Teri Hatcher, which occurred earlier this week. She too will be appearing in a recurring role, in addition to serving as season 2B’s big bad. And while her involvement is also shrouded in secrecy, our educated guess says she has something to do with the alien race that’s been popping up in the past few episodes.

Supergirl” is getting yet another mystery villain. Shortly after casting former Lois Lane Teri Hatcher as a similarly described baddie, the show has enlisted Kevin Sorbo in a recurring role as one of Supergirl’s many foes.

“Since his days as Hercules, Kevin Sorbo has brought such a strong presence to the screen and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join us on ‘Supergirl,'” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said.

Sorbo’s geek pedigree is well accounted for at this point. First there was “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and that franchise’s assorted TV movies and animated joints, in which Sorbo played the eponymous Greek demigod. Then there was “Andromeda,” the sci-fi series created from unused Gene Roddenberry material that ran for five seasons, in which he was High Guard Captain Dylan Hunt, whose mission was to rekindle the light of civilization across several galaxies.

In addition to Hatcher and Sorbo, “Supergirl
