Storyline

Long ago, a mysterious being known as Hoborg created a world called the Neverhood, made entirely of an odd substance known as "Klay." However, Hoborg was lonely and, using a mystical "life seed", created a "Klay man" that he called Klogg. Klogg was evil, however, and stole Hoborg's mystical crown, which was his secret to life; without it, he fell into a deep sleep! Luckily, Willie Trombone and his pal, Big Robot Bill, used a "life seed" to create Klaymen. Now, Klaymen must journey throughout the mysterious world that is, the Neverhood, solve puzzles, dethrone Klogg, revive Hoborg from his long sleep, and save the Neverhood! Written by NeverhoodMaster

Trivia

Klaymen and other important characters were not actually animated via traditional claymation. They were mostly made out of painted latex figurines housing a brass armature. This lent them the needed stability and also kept them from deforming too much and possibly falling apart or melting, which would have happened to traditional clay models. See more »

Goofs

The clay is visibly scraped off the cannon's platform by the cannon's base as it turns. It is back to normal in the shots thereafter. See more »

Quotes

Hoborg: [to Klogg] With you by my side, I'll make more...
Klogg: [trying to knock Hoborg's crown off his head] Crown...!
Hoborg: [grabbing his crown back, the planting it on his head] No! I mean - you, Klogg. This crown is the *only* thing that you cannot have.

The neverhoOd is at number 1 of my favourite games of all time. Created in a klay world called the Everhood that may never exsist! The Neverhood!

The creator Doug TenNapel has also created; EarthWormJim, Gear, Soloman FX and Koghead and meatus. He is a great christian with a band called TRUCK.
