In World War II Germany, two young men--one an ardent Nazi and the other a secret anti-Nazi--are in love with the same woman, the daughter of a wealthy banker. The two join the army, and the young woman becomes a nightclub singer. Eventually she joins the army, too, to entertain the troops, but circumstances soon result in her entire world being changed. have both appeared in the Star Wars films. Two of Lee's scenes in the prequels are direct parallels to scenes that Hamill appeared in. Luke loses his hand to Darth Vader, while Vader, as Anakin, has his hand cut off by Count Dooku, played by Lee. Luke later defeats Vader by cutting off his robotic hand in their rematch, and is encouraged by Palpatine to kill him. Dooku similarly loses his hands to Anakin, who is encouraged by Palpatine to kill him. See more
