Excellent documentary on the American history of drugs, cigarettes and alcohol
15 February 2002 | by (USA) – See all my reviews

I had recorded this unknown gem a long time ago off of Showtime and just recently rediscovered it. It is an interesting look at legal and illegal vices in the 20th Century and mentions a few facts I found very surprising and quite enlightening. Apparently, this is one in a series of documentaries starting with 'The 20th Century:' title. (Check out the directors). Now that I've seen this, I'd love to see the rest.
