a great movie about the rise and further rise of an oligarch and about some miserable youths
3 September 2005 | by (Hungary) – See all my reviews

Rosszfiúk (Bad boys in English translation) is a great movie indeed about the way a single person with the tendency to become a small dictator achieves his goals by the means of using the young criminals he should rather care about. He forms a group of juvenile criminals to ensure his position in the prison, in the leadership of the city and then, maybe later on, even in higher politics. But the facts are not that simple... And this movie is also the drama of a young guy, who lost his faith and then found it in a girl, just to lose it again... Brutal, effective, memorable scenes, combined with the best pieces of Hungarian hip-hop music. What else do we need??? So my vote is a 10.
