CBS took 15 minutes from the show in December 1950 and stated that it would be cut back to 30 minutes in January 1951. Lewis left the show in January 1951 and the show was renamed The Johnny Johnson Show. It was finally canceled in February 1951 with the last broadcast on 9 February.
