Redefines the word "NACO" in Mèxico. But NACO with style.

Warning: Spoilers
"El Premio Mayor" is a weird soap-opera. Why weird? Because it has horrible production values, horrible acting, horrible direction, horrible music, but there's something about it that makes it watchable and believe it or not, entertaining. There's a word in Mèxico that perfectly describes this soap-opera and that word is "naco". There's no exact translation to English or any other language, but it's a mix between vulgar and bad taste.

"El Premio Mayor" deals with a poor family that wins the lottery. The head of the family, "Huicho" Domìnguez, suddenly changes his attitude and becomes a total jerk. He believes he owns the world and everything on it only because he's a new millionaire. He now owns cars, mansions, and best of all, hot sexy young women.

The novel also centers around rigged box fights, unfaithfulness, drugs, and some tragedies typical from Mexican culture.

Laura Leòn is something you have to see to believe it. She's the best BAD actress. Her acting is horrible, over the top, cheesy, terrible damn it; but she has a special on-screen charm that could be described as weird and dramatic (literally). She should be part of the "Surreal Life". Carlos Bonavides delivers a good performance as the Mexican "naco". He might be a horrible person in all the sense of the word, but he's a decent comedic and dramatic actor. Sergio Goyri looks like a Judicial and even plays a detective or something. Sasha is sexy and hot as hell but her acting is mediocre. Rodrigo Vidal cannot fool anyone by playing a young stud; he couldn't get more GAY and wimper. Lorena Herrera is extremely hot and sensual and she's overall a good B-actress. Sergio Sendel and Josè Àngel Garcìa (father of famous Gael Garcìa Bernal) are good actors who play badass characters. Marcelo Buquet is the handsome supporting male and delivers a fine performance. Diego Luna delivers a horrible performance. I wonder why he's so famous now! Galilea Montijo is probably the hottest and sexiest woman in the show and I thank her for wearing really short and provocative mini skirts.

Overall this show is entertaining and provides the occasional social critics against economic issues in Mèxico. Also, it displays how culture cannot be bought. Money can't buy class, culture, education, etc. So Huicho is the typical example of how someone with a lot of money can still be a social disgrace.

"El Premio Mayor" is now (sadly) a piece of Mexican pop-culture. The nickname Huicho Dominguez is very popular even in actual times. So I recommend you to watch this show if you want to witness over the top acting and cheesiness at it's maximum level.

Martha Julia and Galilea Montijo are extremely hot.
